Blue Hill Data Services was honored to support and participate in Lifting Up Westchester’s Annual Golf & Wellness Outing on October 12, 2021.

Held at the Scarsdale Golf Club, it was a day of fun and community to lift up children and individuals out of poverty, with golf and an array of wellness activities. In addition to golf, wellness activities included an Aroma Balance Workshop; a Fit Walk for all fitness levels; a Nutrition Workshop, led by Georgette Goldson, Registered Dietitian at Montefiore CMO; Skills for Self-Care and Stress Management, led by Dr. Brenda Boatswain, Montefiore’s To Your Health! Wellbeing Manager, and Stephanie Saklad, LCAT, Montefiore’s To Your Health! Creative Wellness Program Manager; Tennis and Pickleball, including singles and doubles with all levels welcome; and a Yoga Workshop, from Scarsdale Golf Club.

About 1800 individuals are homeless each night in Westchester County – almost two thirds of them are families with children. Lifting Up Westchester (LUW) helps build the reservoir of support necessary for our Westchester neighbors to flourish; repairing well-being when it starts to breakdown, but also constructing a strong foundation to maintain this well-being over time.

For four decades as one of the county’s largest social service nonprofits, LUW has made sure that all of our neighbors in need have critical resources like nutritious food, stable housing, access to healthcare and education, and the strong support systems they need to regain their independence.
